Magic Maple Wand
The wand is sixteen inches long: (four inch sculpt, two inch crystal), handmade, one-of-a-kind, and the first magic wand I've finally made. The wood is Maple, felled by Hurricane Sandy; I witnessed it, and it was scary. I treated it with polyurethane and magic. The sculpted Maple Lady is made of Sculpey III, polymer clay, and also finished in polyurethane. I wrapped wool around the end of the wand with archival, waterproof craft glue before affixing it to the sculpt, so it can be waved gently, but she's not a toy. The quartz crystal scepter is special too. I picked her from Penn's Cave shop because she was so heavy and smooth like frosted glass, but she has a little inclusion that looks like a tiny castle. There are also: Moonstone, green jasper, Peridot, and Labradorite stones tucked here and there... $35 US Shipping: US: $10, $25 Every Where Else
